Clopidogrel / Spironolactone: Transdermal Gel

Clopidogrel / Spironolactone may be prescribed for:

  • Thromboembolic Disease
  • Congestive Heart Failure
  • Fluid Retention

About Transdermal Gel:

One of the dosage forms available for Clopidogrel / Spironolactone is Transdermal Gel. When a patient won’t take their prescribed medication in an oral liquid, capsule or other dosage form, a transdermal gel may be an appropriate course of therapy.  Wedgewood Pharmacy compounds more than 30 preparations into a transdermal gel. Wedgewood Pharmacy understands the need for alternative routes of delivery when oral dosing is not a feasible option. Wedgewood Pharmacy recommends that you consult with a pharmacist before you prescribe a transdermal medication.

Strengths:

2 strength combinations of Clopidogrel / Spironolactone Transdermal Gel are available.
  • Clopidogrel (as Bisulfate) 187.5 mg/ml
  • Spironolactone from 62.5 mg/ml to 80 mg/ml

What our customers are saying

Pilling a cat is never fun to do, but this takes the trouble of giving medication to a cat away! Our owners love how easy this is to apply.

Carey's Pet Hospital

Great for my clients who have testy cats who won’t take oral medication. Easily applied & loved by clients.
