Quad tabs tablets are scored twice for maximum flexibility in dispensing and dosing, providing up to four doses from each tablet. According to Barbara Forney, VMD, Doxycycline is used in dogs, horses and cats. She noted, that it “is used in dogs to treat susceptible bacterial infections” caused by a variety of bacteria, including Lyme disease. The Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC) reports that 1 out of 16 dogs (6.06%) in the U.S. tested positive for Lyme disease.
