Marcy A. Bliss
Executive Vice President of Business Operations, Marketing and Sales
Marcy A. Bliss, executive vice president of Business Operations, Marketing and Sales for Wedgewood Pharmacy, is responsible for business operations including research and product development, customer care, quality and regulatory affairs, human resources, sales and marketing, and information technology. She also is responsible for the company's public affairs and issues-management programs. She has developed special expertise in veterinary, ophthalmology, urology, dermatology and maternal/fetal-medicine markets.
Prior to joining Wedgewood in 1999, she was chief marketing officer for the accounting and consulting firm, The Siegfried Group (Wilmington, DE), one of the top 25 accounting firms in the U.S. Previously, for eight years, she was a member of the staff of American Red Cross's (ARC) national office in Washington for planning, evaluation and chapter operations and later served as communication manager for the Wilmington chapter of the ARC.
Bliss is a frequent speaker to professional groups on the subjects of compounding pharmacy and marketing.
Bliss is a member of the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association and the Public Affairs Committee of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists.
She holds a B.S. degree in Business/Marketing and Management Studies from the University of Maryland.
