Daniel W. Bitler
Manager of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Daniel W. Bitler, manager of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for Wedgewood Pharmacy, is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance and regulatory programs, policies and practices. He monitors the regulatory environment and works with leadership to develop appropriate regulatory strategies. He has been in the pharmaceutical profession since 1986.
Prior to joining Wedgewood in 2009, he was Quality Assurance manager for Schering-Plough (Kenilworth, NJ); director, Quality Assurance for Amide Pharmaceuticals (Little Falls, NJ); director, Quality Assurance for Alpharma (Elizabeth, NJ); director, Quality Assurance for Sanofi-Synthelabo (New York, NY). Before that he held management positions in quality auditing and training and development for Warner-Lambert Company (Morris Plains, NJ), and as manufacturing supervisor for Parke-Davis (Rochester, MI) and Abbott Laboratories (Rocky Mount, NC). He began his career in 1981 as a manufacturing supervisor for Frito-Lay (Jackson MS).
He holds a B.S. degree in Forest Science from Pennsylvania State University (State College, PA).
