Bob Palmer
Chief Information Officer
Bob Palmer, chief information officer for Wedgewood Pharmacy, plans, coordinates, directs and designs all operational activities of the Information Technology Department. He also is responsible for the strategic direction, planning and design of all IT solutions that enhance critical business operations. As a member of the Wedgewood leadership team, he helps to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. He has been in the information technology profession since 1989.
Prior to joining Wedgewood in 2011, he was senior vice president and CIO for Franklin Credit Management Corporation (Jersey City, NJ); vice president, IT and CIO for Brown-Forman Corporation-Lenox Group, Inc. (Bristol, PA); project manager for Johnson & Johnson-Janssen Pharmaceutica (Titusville, NJ); and lead analyst for Emerson Quiet Kool (Woodbridge, NJ).
Palmer holds a B.S. degree in Management from Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ); and an M.B.A. degree from Rider University (Lawrenceville, NJ). He received a post-graduate Darden Partnership certificate from the Darden Graduate School of Business from the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA).
In 2001, he was recognized by Computerworld magazine as a 100 Premier Leader, receiving an exclusive Best in Class award.
